Macau casino operators launch structured local-talent programmes

Macau's Labour Affairs Bureau (DSAL), the government employment agency, partnered Sands China on a 12-month cross-functional training programme for 10 local residents, with applications from 14 to 23 September and interviews on 29 September. DSAL and Wynn Macau separately opened 20 places in a 24-month food-and-beverage and culinary programme, with applications from 11 to 20 September and interviews on 25 September.

Both programmes use a hire-first, train-afterwards model that combines paid work with professional certification and defined progression routes.
