JRA creates Japan-only online pool for the Jockey Club Gold Cup

The Japan Racing Association (JRA), Japan's national horse-racing operator, will offer betting on the Jockey Club Gold Cup in New York exclusively through Soku-PAT, its bank-linked online wagering channel. Seven bet types will be available, while A-PAT, JRA Direct, racecourses, off-track WINS outlets and UMACA terminals are excluded.

Bets will enter an independent Japanese pool, meaning domestic liquidity and odds remain separate from the United States market. JRA listed Forever Young as an intended runner as of 7 September, but final declarations were still due on 13 September, so participation was not yet confirmed.
