Taiwan Lottery allocates TWD100m to Mid-Autumn promotion

Taiwan Lottery published rules allocating TWD100 million, or 100 million New Taiwan dollars, to additional Lotto 6/49 prizes across as many as 12 draws from 15 September to 23 October. The pool comprises TWD70 million for promotional TWD1 million prizes and TWD30 million for TWD5,000 prizes, with the precise distribution governed by the number and timing of winners.

The campaign shows how the state-authorised lottery operator is using a capped seasonal prize budget to support demand while controlling its payout exposure. The same announcement also changes promotional mechanics for Bingo Bingo and 39 Lottery; actual payout and sales effects will only be measurable after the draws.
