Shanghai plans anti-fraud checks across lottery payments and prizes

Shanghai Sports Lottery Management Center, the city's state-authorised sports-lottery operator, said it will work with police to add fraud warnings to shop payment and prize-claim processes and share data on suspicious funds, unusually large bets, illegal lotteries and cross-border gambling.

The plan would turn licensed lottery shops into monitoring points within Shanghai's financial-crime controls. The official announcement describes a proposed cooperation mechanism; it does not confirm that a technical data-sharing system is already operating.
