PhilWeb commits PHP4.23bn to JKS Tech platform stake

PhilWeb and its wholly owned subsidiary agreed to subscribe for 10,726,075 shares in JKS Tech Solutions at PHP394 each, a combined commitment of PHP4.23 billion. PHP is the Philippine peso; JKS Tech supplies business-to-business platforms and digital infrastructure to licensed mid-market digital-entertainment operators.

The investment connects a listed gaming-technology company with a supplier serving the regulated online market. The new shares require JKS Tech shareholder and Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission approval, so the disclosed commitment is not yet a completed transaction.
