JRA extends its betting network to J-PLACE Minamisoma

The Japan Racing Association (JRA), Japan's national horse-racing operator, will begin selling and paying out JRA bets at J-PLACE Minamisoma in Fukushima Prefecture on 19 September. The outlet, currently known as Offt Minamisoma, is operated by the Special Ward Racing Association and will sell every race from every JRA racecourse, including advance sales.

The opening expands the physical bridge between Japan's centrally run JRA racing and local-government racing infrastructure. The official notice confirms the launch date and coverage, but does not provide expected turnover or customer-volume figures.
