Hubei police close game-machine gambling venue in Tongcheng

Hubei Provincial Public Security Department, the Chinese province's police authority, said Tongcheng county police closed a venue where gaming machines were allegedly used for gambling and detained ten suspects during a province-wide night operation.

The case shows that physical machine-based gambling remains an enforcement target alongside China's larger campaigns against online and cross-border betting. The official notice does not disclose turnover, charges or the machines' supplier.
